Sean is very enthusiastic in teaching. He makes Chemistry learning interesting and is able to maintain the intriguing level with the students. The kids have learnt a lot from him and are more confident with Chemistry now. They have done well in the subject and look forward to attend his lessons every week.

Really appreciate how Mr Sean Chua emphasizes the need to understand Chemistry concepts rather than memorizing them. I used to think that Chemistry was a very difficult subject due to the fact that the questions have a high tendency to cross topics. I was always very confused at these seemingly random questions that came out of nowhere. However, through Mr Chua’s clear, logical and concise notes, teachings and explanations, I find myself having more fun than stress learning Chemistry. Really thankful for Mr Chua for changing my perspective of Chemistry.

Mr Chua is a very dedicated tutor and he knows the trend of exam questions very well. The workshops we had also help a lot especially during O’ levels. With this, it helped me gain confidence in asking and answering questions in chemistry without needing to depend too much on memorization. It helped me focus more on setting my basic skills, putting in the right keywords and being able to apply it on different application questions correctly through the B.A.M technique. Thanks to that, I got A1 for chemistry!! Will definitely recommend!! 

I joined Mr Chua from the beginning of Year 3. He has since been able to cultivate a strong interest and love for Chemistry in me. During each and every lesson, he is very lively and enthusiastic about passing on his knowledge. He consciously makes the effort to cater to his pupils’ needs e.g. via ensuring that each lesson is conducted a suitable pace.

Before joining Mr Chua lessons, I used to struggle with chemistry and did not know how to answer questions effectively. Mr Chua’s unique teaching method enabled me to have a more in-depth understanding of the curriculum content in Sec 3 and 4 which allowed me to have a strong foundation in Chemistry. Once I mastered the basics, I was given many application questions and I soon learnt how to answer them confidently. Thank you Mr Chua for being a caring and patient teacher for these past 2 years! 

Before joining Mr Chua’s workshop I often doubted myself when completing questions & lacked a clear thinking process. During the workshop, Mr Chua was engaging and straight to the point, and I found unique ways to remember key concepts. After completing the workshop, I am now faster and more confident when solving questions. Mr Chua’s lessons & workshops would be fun yet enriching for everyone.

Before joining Mr Chua’s classes, I have always struggled with Chemistry and was constantly getting D7 to F9. I never understood how to apply the concepts to answer questions, especially when questions cross topics. I have always thought that Chemistry is all about memorising the concepts and their examples.

However, after attending Mr Chua’s classes in June, all the concepts from the various topics began to make sense on how they can be related, and answering cross topic questions became a breeze.

Moreover, like what Mr Chua always emphasise, I found that there is only one small portion that requires memory work. I really appreciate how Mr Chua explains the concepts so clearly using his short yet detailed notes.
