Are there weekly classes after these revision workshops?

Most students want to continue with the momentum and discipline of preparing for their O-Levels or IP examinations all the way to October.

Our weekly revision classes will start from July to end Oct. The focus of these classes is on exposure to questions and more questions on the following topics.

Concepts are summarised in 10-20 mins.

Students who are scoring less than 65% are highly encouraged to attend all the revision workshops covering Sec 3 & 4 major topics during June/July to build up their basic concepts, associated keywords and application skills.

Who is the teacher?

Sean Chua

Mr Sean Chua is

the only Chemistry specialist since 1999 who is
the invited book author for BOTH the O-Level Pure Chemistry and A-Level H2 Chemistry Ten Year Series.

This also means your child can have direct access to him for discussion on his approach in solving each and every single question from the Ten Year Series.

He is also the rare few Chemistry tutors who is familiar with BOTH the O-Level and A-Level syllabus which is the reason why IP Chemistry students benefit greatly from his Chemistry tuition classes.

Most school teachers and private tutors only know either the O-Level or the A-Level Chemistry syllabus. For Sean, his experience and mastery of both the syllabuses allow him to connect the basic concepts in GCE O-Level Pure Chemistry and the advanced concepts in GCE A-Level H2 Chemistry together. This allows students to understand the essential concepts thoroughly, just like a crystal ball in their hand. For O-Level Pure Chemistry students, there are concepts and phenomenon which their school teachers want them to just memorise it. When asked, the teachers were not able to explain further. How is the workshop conducted?

We adopt the BAM!™ methodology as illustrated:

The first part of the workshop will be used to build Basic concepts and understand Associated keywords to ensure that every student is equipped with a strong foundation of essential concepts to cope with answering examination questions.

After which, the remaining time shall be set aside to impart the Mapping and application of basic concepts and associated keywords to solve carefully selected examination questions. Problem-solving strategies will be taught during the workshop in a clear and systematic manner. All materials have been carefully prepared by our trainers through cumulative years of research and observing the trends of the past years examination questions.

All workshop participants will be provided with customised learning materials for each workshop.

There will be a 5-10 minutes break every hour for students to use the washroom and access their mobile phones.
